On December 13th, JMT received the Innovative Transportation Solutions Award from the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Baltimore Chapter for a project developed for the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT). ADAMobile, a mobile solution designed by the JMT Technology Group and built on Esri’s ArcGIS Mobile technology, provides DelDOT with the ability to inventory its pedestrian facilities based on ADA Standards for Accessible Design. To date, 130 miles of sidewalk have been inventoried in Kent and Sussex Counties, and JMT is currently inventorying 300 miles of sidewalk in New Castle County. This information is used to prioritize compliance-related upgrades throughout the state. Concurrently, a web application known as the Pedestrian Accessibility Dashboard, also designed by the JMT Technology Group, helps users visualize areas of compliance and non-compliance. Washington, DC (September 26, 2011) – JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial and technology solutions provider, was selected by the Town of Vienna, Virginia, home to nearly 16,000 people, to provide a variety of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Information Technology services.

JMT will provide strategic planning, GIS system architecture and data development services to establish a centralized GIS platform to be used by all departments within the Town. Sparks, Maryland (July 28, 2011) – JMT Technology Group, a leading technology solutions provider, was selected by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), to develop and implement a new sports licensing and registration system for the State of Maryland.

JMT will develop, deploy, and support COMPASS, the new web-based, outdoor customer delivery system which includes licensing for activities such as hunting, fishing and off-road vehicles, and will include harvest reporting and online payment transactions. "DNR is excited to have JMT as our strategic partner to build COMPASS — a modernized and upgraded licensing and customer service platform," says Len Singel , Chief Information Officer of DNR. "When deployed later this year, COMPASS will use the latest technology and green practices to be more convenient for our customers and sports license agents. We believe COMPASS will raise the bar for similar systems developed for our sister agencies throughout the U.S."
