Nour Graham, GISP, Elected to KAMP Board of Directors
Congratulations to Nour Graham, GISP, who was elected to serve on the Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals Board of Directors!
Nour began her journey with the Kentucky Association of Mapping Professionals (KAMP) in 2022, when she was recruited to help with the scholarship committee. Since then, she's grown her involvement and is now a part of the awards committee, where she has served as chair for the last two years. She has now been elected by her peers to serve a two-year term on the organization's board.
"Getting elected to serve on the board is an honor, and I'm looking forward to giving back to our GIS community and working with the rest of our board as a team!" Nour commented.
KAMP is an organization that fosters understanding of and improvement in the management and use of geospatial information throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky across all levels of government, academia, and the private sector. It provides a mechanism for dialogue and education regarding geospatial information issues of concern or interest to all Kentucky professionals involved in the collection, processing, analysis, use, and maintenance of geospatial information. As part of its objectives, KAMP strives to create a framework in which the various governmental units, academic institutions, and private-sector organizations of Kentucky may cooperate in investigating, studying, discussing, and recommending improvements in geospatial information management.
